⚠️ Ceuta crisis escalates as soldiers seek force authorization
Between 8,000 and 10,000 migrants are living on Ceuta's streets as residents burned camps and blocked Red Cross vehicles. Military association AUME asks the Government to authorize 'proportionate' force, with over 400 police and Guardia Civil deployed.

Part-time contracts can range from 33% to 80% of full time, up from the previous 25-75%. Those working 55-80% who start at least six months after retiring can get a 25% pension boost; otherwise the pension is reduced proportionally.
Buying a home through your company is a tax trap
Tax lawyer Luis Miguel Larriba warns that buying a home through a Spanish company makes it a corporate asset, not personal property. Transferring the property later to the owner triggers taxes, usually by sale or dividend distribution. Living in the property counts as private use of a company asset. Many entrepreneurs only seek help years later, when fixing it is expensive.
Government and regions clash over Ceuta migrant relocation
The Government and 14 autonomous communities approved €25 million for migrant child care in Ceuta, while Aragón, Extremadura, and Castilla y León refused to attend. The Government proposed four legal mechanisms to move about 1,500 unaccompanied minors to the mainland; PP-led regions reject any distribution. Territorial Policy Minister Ángel Víctor Torres said the facilities Ceuta offered would take months to become habitable.
Vaccinations for Ceuta migrants start next week
Health Minister Mónica García said vaccination of migrants in Ceuta begins next week with 45,000 doses, including 15,000 MMR and 10,000 each for diphtheria/tetanus, varicella, and polio. She said migrants do not bring diseases and the risk for residents is low, citing a moderate transmission risk among migrants due to overcrowding and poor hygiene. She criticized PP leader Feijóo's proposal to confine migrants.

DGT denies driving theory test will change on October 1
The DGT says viral claims about a new driving theory test on October 1 are false. The exam remains 30 multiple-choice questions with a maximum of three errors in 30 minutes. The October 1 regulation change affects traffic rules, not the exam. Risk-perception videos are being studied but no process has started.
