⚠️ Spain and Morocco reinforce Ceuta border over possible mass entry
Spain and Morocco deployed 880 police and 714 Civil Guard officers in Ceuta as social media called for a new mass entry attempt on August 15. More than 80,000 people crossed from Morocco on July 30, and hundreds are still sleeping in the streets without identification or care. PSOE ministers have vowed to expel everyone who entered irregularly, including minors, though Spanish law does not allow mass returns. Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska called Morocco a close and reliable partner and said collaboration is total.

Tax court limits IRPF exemption on home sale reinvestment
Spain's Central Economic-Administrative Court (TEAC) has unified its criteria on the IRPF reinvestment exemption for habitual residence sales. A taxpayer who sells their home and buys a new one with another person can only exempt the portion of the sale price reinvested in the ownership share they actually acquired. The exemption depends on the amount effectively reinvested, not on keeping the same ownership percentage. For property acquired as community property (gananciales) without express shares, each spouse's share is 50%.
